Guys that put me off.

Remember the letter I wrote to the forum eons ago, today it was published.

The strange thing is I only knew of it when my uncle sms me, rebuking me for showing more concern over explosives than my sister. wtf. This reminds me why I do not like my relatives. What right do they have to reprimand me? This uncle is one of my most preferred uncles too.

Later, my cousin icqed me, he claimed I was boliao. I just do not understand. Why do some people do nothing about anything but just whine about everything? They adopt the i-will-wait-for-gold-to-drop attitude and in the meanwhile complain that they are powerless to do anything.
Granted, some things like building a casino are largely beyond our control and the 'elite' make the final decision. Most other things, we should not be afraid or be lazy to voice out.

Guys like this simply put me off. There are some guys who are nonchalant to the state of affairs around them, they choose their lifestyle and that is fine with me. Those that pissed me off are those who do nothing and complain the whole day. In short, these are the guys who often lament that National Service is waste of time because Singapore will perish with a bomb. Guys who cling to this belief are short-sighted and shallow. War is no longer fight this way. We should not even be allowing the missile to head our direction. I have never been to the army, so I will stop short at this topic.

I hope I am not sounding too pro-pap. I am not pro-pap although it is undeniable what the government has done. Anyone who can do a better job and not do a Chee Soon Juan gets my vote.

yeah man... i totally agree with you on those pple who says no point fighting a war for S'pore, since 1 bomb can cause S'pore to disappear from the map...

if that's really the case, either S'pore is the size of my estate, Potong Pasir, or those pple are shallower than a puddle of water.

Babe, I am so proud of you! I cut the newspaper out and keep it in my safe drawer.
